West Ham have drawn up a shortlist of more than 10 players to replace Marko Arnautovic if he moves to China.
The Hammers will try to sign a replacement striker in January should Arnautovic leave — and Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson is one possibility.
West Ham will demand up to £50million for Arnautovic.
Shanghai SIPG, the Chinese champions, are yet to increase their initial £35m offer but they are said to be ready to make a new bid of around £45m, which will test West Ham, whose boss Manuel Pellegrini will have the final say.
The Austrian forward, 29, could earn £300,000 a week in China.
Wilson, who has been linked with Chelsea, is on their radar but Bournemouth have put a £75m price tag on him.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he was in early discussions with a club about a short-term move from LA Galaxy, but West Ham have said they are not interested in him.
