Nathan Trott - Poor in the lead up to Dundee's goal. A bad touch saw the ball run out of play for a needless corner from which Charlie Adam headed home. Had little else to do but such is the life of a goalkeeper his one mistake proved costly. 5
Ryan Fredericks - Got forward well in support of Jarrod Bowen, defensively sound but saw little of the ball in attack. 6
Frederick Alves - Did well in possession but was too easily beaten in the air on a few occasions. Was urged by Moyes and Ogbonna to push up but failed to heed the instructions on a number of occasions. 5
Angelo Ogbonna - As loud as ever repeating the manager's instructions to his teammates, the defenisve leader and grew frustrated with the missed chances towards the end of the half. 6
Aaron Cresswell - Got frustrated with Holland on a couple of occasions for not providing an option for a pass or a weak challenge in the air. Won his own aerial duals and got forward when possible. 6
Mark Noble - Nothing spectacular but no errors from the captain. Won the ball back a few times and kept things simple in possession. 6
Conor Coventry - Quiet first half but rarely gave the ball away and won back possession a number of times as the game wore on. 6
Manuel Lanzini - One of West Ham's best players during the first period. Always seemed to have time on the ball, kept possession well and dictated from both deep and further up the pitch. 7
Jarrod Bowen - Direct running saw him break into the box on a couple of occasions but failed to trouble the keeper with both his shots being blocked by the defence. West Ham's biggest threat in attack. 8
Nathan Holland - Improved as the half wore on, ran at the defence and looked to take his man on. Played a lovely pass in for Antonio who saw his effort well saved. 7
Michail Antonio - Quiet start but grew into the half, took on the centre-backs and provided them with a tough physical challenge. Pulled out wide to receive possession and run at the defence. 7
