Lukasz Fabianski - Took a couple of risks with the ball at his feet but just about survived. Made a comfortable save from the one Brentford shot on target. 6
Ryan Fredericks - Most of Brentford's attacks came down his side of the pitch but the right-back dealt with it well. Showed his athleticism when covering behind the centre-backs on a couple of occasions. 6
Craig Dawson - Typical Craig Dawson display, won most things in the air and was on hand to clear away a good Bees opportunity. 6
Issa Diop - One misplaced pass aside a solid 45 minutes for Diop who has looked good throughout pre-season. 7
Aaron Cresswell - Got forward well but was disappointing with his set-pieces that nearly all found a Brentford head. Solid in defence. 6
Ben Johnson - Johnson started in a more attacking role than usual but failed to beat his man on the majority of occasions he received the ball. 5
Conor Coventry - Composed on the ball once more. Playing without Mark Noble beside him Coventry had to be more defensively minded and did the job asked of him well. 6
Manuel Lanzini - Won the ball back well on a number of occasions and looked to dictate the tempo of the game from a deep-lying midfield position, something he looks comfortable doing. 6
Pablo Fornals - Involved in every West Ham attack, constantly on the move and always available to receive the ball. A fine half from the Spaniard. 7
Said Benrahma - Did not have his shooting boots on but looked a threat whenever he had the ball at his feet and running at the Brentford defence. 6
Michael Antonio - The striker was well up for the physical battle giving as much as he got, saw little of the ball at his feet though. 6
