West Ham fans will love Michail Antonio's loyalty after lost bet with Spurs star Ryan Sessegnon

While the Premier League game between Spurs and West Ham United was unable to take place due to the coronavirus outbreak, two players were not happy with allowing the rivalry to go unchallenged,

Michail Antonio came up with an idea, posting an invitation on Twitter. "I ain't missing playing a London derby this weekend... Fifa, who wants it?" he tweeted.

The response came from Spurs star Ryan Sessegnon, with the game set up for Friday night, the same time the two would have met in the Premier League.

However, Antonio decided to up the stakes ahead of the match.

"It’s on, let's raise the stakes, loser gives a full apology wearing the other team’s shirt?????" It was a bet that was accepted by the Spurs youngster.

Goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Lucas Moura gave Sessegnon a 2-0 win over his rival, however, Antonio came up with the classic excuse of his controller not working after the game.

Sessegnon took to social media, and was not going easy on his rival: "Great win!  Looking forward to my apology @michailantonio," he wrote.

And Antonio has delivered on his promise to wear a Spurs shirt, posting a video on Twitter - but he's also earned some more plaudits from Hammers fans for what he did next.

"I'm a man of my word, so I am wearing the kit," Antonio stated. However, he then stripped the Spurs shirt off, revealing the Hammers' 2015/16 away shirt underneath. "But I didn't say I would let it touch my skin!"

Spurs star Sessegnon was not happy, posting the video to his own Twitter account with the caption: "What is that @michailantonio??!!"

With no football on the agenda for at least another month, it looks like this one could be set to run and run.
