West Ham fans take aim at David Moyes as he leaves Jarrod Bowen on the bench against Liverpool

David Moyes has made two changes to his starting lineup to play Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night but one of those changes is not including Jarrod Bowen from the start.

Jeremy Ngakia and Felipe Anderson are the players to come in, Arthur Masuaku misses out from the 18 entirely and Ryan Fredericks is also out after picking up his injury against Man City last time out, damaging ligaments in his left shoulder.

Moyes said at his pre-match press conference on Friday that he would not be rushed into starting the £22m January transfer deadline day signing from Hull City after giving him 13 minutes off the bench at the Etihad.

The winger/forward will have to be patient once again as he is named among the substitutes at Anfield.

But that might not be music to the ears of Hammers fans, who have reacted to the team news on social media.

Moyes said last week: "What we are not going to do is put the pressure on him to make the difference because the boy has come in from the Championship.

"What I can tell you is he has looked sharp, he is certainly match fit, he has settled in very quickly  and I would say he has added to the group, he has been a good addition to the squad.

"Hopefully he shows that but what I am not going to do is put him in positions where we are rushing him and he is not ready yet. I have had a lot of experience with Championship players and I know the right times when to put him in and when to not."
