West Ham fans name their most hated rivals and favourite foes with some surprising results

From and Tottenham Hotspur to Millwall, the fixture list is rarely without drama for West Ham and their fans.

The east Londoners have a varied and vibrant relationship with the other clubs of their city, leading to plenty of excellent football matches when these heated rivalries take to the pitch.

But which showdowns matter most to the Irons and their supporters?

The League of Love and Hate is an annual survey that asks tens and thousands of fans across the country who they support and what they think of the other teams in their league.

At the end of the survey, you'll see the results so far and the gadget also reveals what other clubs think of your team, what other fans of your club think and identifies the most and least popular teams overall.

Last season, fans of the Hammers named Spurs as their most hated rivals followed by Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.

When it came to supporters who were less than appreciative of what West Ham bring to the game, Tottenham lead the way ahead of Fulham, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

The results also flagged up the clubs whose followers hold a bit more warmth for the Irons.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City's fans all reported to feel some degree of affection for the Hammers.

Irons supporters, meanwhile, had a nicer things to say about Bournemouth, Brighton and Huddersfield Town - which is awkward given that 51.7% of Huddersfield fans said they didn't like the east Londoners one bit!

How do West Ham supporters really feel about the clubs of the Premier League and Footbal League in 2019? Take part in the survey above to let your true feelings be known.
