West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic has not handed in a transfer request but once again is looking to leave the club, just six months after signing a new contract.
The Hammers have received a bid from an unnamed Chinese club of €22m which has been rejected immediately by the Hammers, who insist they expect the striker to honour his contract in the capital. Arnautovic has not said he wants to go explicitly but is tempted by a move to China.
Arnautovic was involved in a drawn out saga during the January transfer window after he was subject of a £30.5m bid from another unnamed Chinese club. His brother and agent Danijel both went on national radio to demand a move but the Hammers wouldn't budge after they turned down the Chinese offer.
However, a sensational u-turn saw him sign a new £120,000 a week contract and he finished the season with the Hammers and had seemingly buried the hatched,
football.london now understands that he is "playing up again" and the 30-year-old has an offer on the table to join a Chinese Super League club once again, just like he did back in January.
