One of West Ham's most in-form players so far this season looks set for a spell on the sidelines after going off injured against Newport County.
Michail Antonip went down like he'd been hit by a bullet having chased down a through ball from Aaron Cresswell and immediately clutched his hamstring and signalled to the bench he had to come off.
It was just seven minutes into the second round Carabao Cup tie in South Wales and he was replaced by Felipe Anderson, who was probably expecting a night off on the bench.
It's the first big injury blow for Manuel Pellegrini to have to contend with this campaign having had to go through a season of plenty of injury issues in 2018/19.
Antonio had to be helped off by two of the Hammers medical team and was struggling to put any weight on his right leg as he was immediately take down the tunnel.
The winger will be assessed over the coming days but if he has torn his hamstring then that usually means a minimum of six weeks put injured, maybe more. The Hammers will be hoping it's more of a strain or a pull than a full on tear of the muscle.
Antonio had brilliant impact off the bench in previous games against Watford and Brighton, particular ly in the win over the Hornets. He had a header saved onto the bar that was hooked in by Sebastien Haller to make it 3-1 on Saturday.
At least this season, Pellegrini has options. Andriy Yarmolenko played at the weekend and is a like for like replacement, while youngster Nathan Holland could well see his first tea prospects go up a notch.
