West Ham defender Ryan Fredericks trains alone as Hammers prepare for Europa League clash with Rapid Vienna

West Ham trained today ahead of their first home game in the Europa League this season tomorrow night.

Hammers manager David Moyes oversaw the session ahead of their meeting with Rapid Vienna at the London Stadium.

Ryan Fredericks remains absent from full training following the groin injury he sustained against Manchester United at Old Trafford last week and is not expected back until after the international break at the earliest.

The full-back was pictured training with a fitness coach. There were no other big-name absentees.

Former West Ham academy graduate Joe Cole also paid a visit to his former club and was pictured chatting with Hammers captain Mark Noble.

Rapid Vienna began their group stage campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Genk.

West Ham began their Europa League campaign with a convincing 2-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia earlier this month and will be relishing the chance to play European football in front of their own fans.
