West Ham confirmed 11: David Moyes makes two changes to face Brighton as Danny Ings starts

West Ham United boss David Moyes has named his side to face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

The Hammers will look to record a second straight Premier League win for only the second time this season and strengthen their current two-point lead of the Premier League’s relegation zone.

As the Irons look to record their second away league win all season, Moyes has made X changes to face Brighton from the side that lost 3-1 to Manchester United in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.

After missing the trip to Old Trafford due to being ineligible for the FA Cup, striker Danny Ings is back in the starting side, having scored twice on his full debut for the club a week ago against Nottingham Forest.

Having only started on the bench in midweek following a minor knock, Jarrod Bowen is back in the starting 11, with Pablo Fornals dropping to the bench.

Frenchman Alphonse Areola keeps his place in goal in what is only his second league start for the Hammers and his first since January 2022. Fellow national colleague Kurt Zouma returns to the bench after over a month out with a thigh issue.

Striker Michail Antonio and defender Thilo Kehrer are both not in the squad.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski remains out of action after undergoing an eye operation earlier this week. Winger Maxwel Cornet is also not in the squad, but did make his return to action after a five-month absence with a calf injury during the under-21s’ 5-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has made three changes from the side that beat Stoke City 1-0 in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.
