West Ham confirmed 11: David Moyes makes nine changes to face Anderlecht amid Flynn Downes call

West Ham United boss David Moyes has named his side to face Anderlecht at Lotto Park.

The Hammers will look to make it three wins from three in Group B of the Europa Conference League when they take on their Belgian opponents, who currently sit second and two points behind the Hammers in their group.

As the Irons aim to make it back-to-back wins in all competitions, Moyes has made nine changes to face Anderlecht from the team that beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 on Saturday.

West Ham are set to be moving to a back five, with Alphonse Areola once again replacing Lukasz Fabianski in goal. Ben Johnson is back after over a month out with a hamstring issue and joins Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna in a centre-back trio, with Vladimir Coufal and Emerson coming in as wing-backs.

Flynn Downes and Manuel Lanzini also come into the midfield and are set to play as a midfield partnership. Jarrod Bowen keeps his place after scoring against Wolves, playing alongside Said Benrahma behind Michail Antonio up front.

Lukasz Fabianski, Thilo Kehrer, Kurt Zouma, Aaron Cresswell, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca all drop to the bench, while Maxwel Cornet misses out with a calf injury.

There is also a place on the bench for 16-year-old midfielder Oliver Scarles.

Centre-back Nayef Aguerd (ankle) remains sidelined but has resumed light training, having been on the sidelines since pre-season.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht boss Felice Mazzu has made four changes from the side that lost 1-0 to Charleroi on Sunday.
