West Ham concept kit revealed with hints Umbro could take inspiration from 1970s

An image have been leaked online of how West Ham's 2019/20 home shirt could look next season, though there might be a few minor tweaks to it.

At this time of year, Hammers fans are normally thinking about two things: the latest transfer rumours and what the new kit could look like.

Both of them normally get tongues wagging but especially the new kits as fans decide whether they shell out for a new one next season or not and what their heroes will be adorning next season.

West Ham's kit manufacturer Umbro penned at the beginning of May to make Hammers kits for another five years, including the special edition 125th anniversary edition of Hammers shirts for the 2020/21.

But before we get to then, there has been an image leaked on social media of what the next incarnation may look like - and here it is:

The rumours suggest that the home shirt for next season will be based on famous Admiral kit used in different variations between 1976 and 1980.

The mock-up suggests that the chevrons would be straighter than on the kid modelled above by Sir Trevor Brooking in 1979 and that there will be no collar on it either.

Some Premier League sides, such as Liverpool and Chelsea, have already revealed their kits for next season though the Hammers usually wait a bit longer with both of last season's incarnations revealed on May 25.
