West Ham can now look up - not down - the Premier League table, says David Moyes

David Moyes says West Ham can finally start looking up the table after two years of relegation scraps.

The Hammers’ win at Sheffield United, which brought back-to-back victories and clean sheets either side of the international break, moved the Hammers up to eighth in the Premier League table.

Moyes's side are playing with a new found confidence and stability after moving to a back three and the former Manchester United and Everton manager credited the squad for buying into his plans and changing their fortunes.

“Our boys at the moment are playing with a lot of confidence and thankfully we got another win today," Moyes told Sky Sports.

"I hope we can play even better. Eighth is great at the moment, I hope we can look towards the top and not the bottom as we have done too often.

"We are not going to get too carried away, but in the dressing room there is a great spirit - we have changed a lot of things behind the scenes and the players are buying into it.

"We have to make sure the players enjoy their work and work that will help us in the games."
