Kerry Ellis, who has been a leading light on Broadway and the West End for 20 years, is set to perform songs from her glittering career at the Ulster Hall this May and she needs your help.
Having made made her West End debut in 1998 in the musical My Fair Lady, Ellis has gone on to star in numerous musical hits such as We Will Rock You, Les Miserables and Cats - as well as having taken over Idina Menzel's role as Elphaba in Wicked!
On top of her illustrious career in theatre, Kerry has also found chart success as a recording artist.
Her debut album Anthems was released in 2010 and reached No.15 in the UK album chart.
Now, Kerry has launched a competition for a local choir to join her on stage when she performs at the Ulster Hall on May 9th.
To enter this competition, your choir needs to upload a short video of you singing onto either Instagram or twitter, tagging Kerry Ellis. There are no restrictions, meaning that any choir can apply.
Kerry will then chose a winning choir and announce on her social media channels at the end of February.
Speaking ahead of her Ulster Hall performance, Kerry said: "I can’t wait to come to Belfast with my solo show. It is going to be so much fun. I’ll be singing songs that helped carve out my career in the world of musical theatre, songs from my albums and some new material I have been working on."
