West Dunbartonshire health staff recognised for part in Covid effort

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde staff, including those working at the Vale of Leven Hospital and Dumbarton Health Centre, have been recognised for their incredible efforts in the battle against Covid-19.

Over the past year, staff across the country have faced unprecedented pressures as they continue caring for patients in the midst of a pandemic, all whilst having to embrace news ways of working and changes to their everyday lives.

Now, Covid exceptional service badges have been sent to every member of staff within NHSGGC on behalf of the health board’s chief executive and chairman to thank them for their hard work during the pandemic and recognise their significant efforts.

NHSGGC chief executive Jane Grant said: “It was hugely important that NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde acknowledged the efforts of all our staff throughout the pandemic, and these badges are a small token of our gratitude.
