Young gangs' turf war escalates as innocent woman's Dublin home attacked during Adamstown chaos

A west Dublin community was left in fear after an innocent woman's front window was allegedly destroyed by a gang as part of a local feud.

The home on Castlegate Chase in Adamstown was mistakenly targeted as part of an alleged turf war between two young gangs.

The home had a brick thrown through the window in an apparent case of mistaken identity, which left the occupant shook but thankfully unhurt.

And a local community group urged everyone to "stay safe" in the area and to "report every single incident" they see.

Gardai told Dublin Live: "Gardaí attended the scene of criminal damage at a house in Adamstown, Lucan this evening at 9.10p.m. Tuesday 16 February, 2021.

"Front windows were smashed and no persons injured.

"Investigations ongoing."
