West Country Water Park launches Open Air Cinema

West Country Water Park, near Bristol, has launched an Open Air Cinema programme for the summer. Located just off the M4 and M5, the leisure attraction is a step up from your local Showcase, and could provide the perfect family treat this August.

With seating that overlooks a lake, the showings are set to be a luxe experience that'll feel like a treat for the whole family. West Country Water Park have partnered with Horizon Experiences to bring the Open Air Cinema to life.

Visitors are welcome to spend a day at the aquapark beforehand, or you can have a wander round the stunning grounds before settling down with a blanket for an evening of entertainment.

Food and drink will be on sale each evening. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket to snuggle up for movie night.

VIP tickets will have deckchairs thrown in. Seating is not provided with a standard ticket.

West Country Water Park are showing five classic films throughout August. From E.T., to Jaws, there's something for the whole family.

The screenings begin just after sunset at 8.15pm. Standard tickets cost £15pp and VIP tickets cost £20 pp.

Some screenings run across the August Bank Holiday and could be the perfect way to celebrate the long weekend. The full list of screenings is as follows:

  • E.T. - 12 August
  • West Side Story - 13 August
  • Sharknado - 26 August
  • Life of Pi - 27 August
  • Jaws - 28 August
