West Calder Dog's Trust: Adorable and well-trained dog looking for a forever home

An adorable dog is looking for his forever home after being rescued by Dog’s Trust.

The 10-year-old Jack Russel is in the West Calder centre in West Lothian and is looking for a kind family to take him in for good.

The cheeky pup has an endearing grin and is playful but shy and would need to build up trust with any new potential family.

Alfie would need experienced owners who have had terriers before and ideally a garden to go out in.

For walks he would need somewhere with not too many other dogs around so he could roam around leaves and tall grass in peace and quiet.

The smart boy will offer his paw for a treat, is fully house trained and is okay to be left alone for a couple of hours.

When the 10-year-old isn’t out and about exploring he loves playing with his toys before snuggling up in a cosy bed.

Dogs Trust said: “Alfie is a clever little man who will sit nicely and give a paw for a tasty treat!

“He is fully house trained and is happy to be at home for a couple of hours on his own.

“Alfie would like to meet his new owners a few times to build a relationship or if you think you could foster him whilst he looks for his forever home, please get in touch.”

Dogs Trust care for over 15,000 dogs each year across 20 rehoming centres in the UK.

The animal charity has been involved in every piece of legislation affecting dogs over the past 126 years.
