West Bromwich Albion now in the hunt for Nottingham Forest 'target' Alan Hutton

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly joined the race to sign Alan Hutton.

Nottingham Forest were on the brink of signing the former Aston Villa right-back a week ago, according to the Sun on Sunday.

Now the same publication say Forest's Championship rivals are also keen.

Hull City are another side reportedly in the running to land the 34-year-old.

Forest thought Hutton would join them on a free transfer this time last year, but he opted to sign a new deal at Villa Park and went on to help them win promotion to the Premier League.

The Reds' apparent interest in Hutton might well have ended after Martin O'Neill was sacked and replaced by Sabri Lamouchi on Friday.

However, the Post understands Manchester City goalkeeper Aro Muric will sign shortly despite the change in manager.
