West Brom fan appears to ’s*** himself' on live TV during Championship encounter

A West Brom supporter appeared to have an unfortunate accident on live television - and immediately made a dash for the toilet.

The Baggies fan was cheering on his team against Championship rivals Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.

City were 3-0 up against a sloppy West Brom side inside 20 minutes with goals from Josh Brownhill, Andreas Weimann and Jack Hunt.

The visitors pulled a goal back when the unlucky fan was caught on camera touching the seat of his trousers before seemingly realising he was in trouble.

He was then seen on Sky Sports cameras scurrying down the stairs, and the video soon circulated on social media.

Eagled-eyed supporters were adamant the individual ’s*** himself’, and were left in hysterics.

One wrote on social media: “Feel sorry for that West Brom fan that s***’ himself last night when he goes into work today.”

Another said: “His little dance gets me at the end when he realises he’s followed through.”

Brownhill fired City in front from Weimann's second-minute cross and then provided the header across goal which saw Weimann double the advantage with a 16th-minute volley.

Hunt then headed home Jay da Silva's 19th-minute chip from the left to the far post to leave home fans in dreamland.

But two minutes into the second half Dwight Gayle glanced home a Stefan Johansen free-kick to give Albion hope.

When Jay Rodriguez netted from close range on 74 minutes after Craig Dawson nodded on a long throw, the visitors were firmly back in it.

The Baggies, though, could not conjure the equaliser to suffer a second consecutive defeat.
