West Bengal: STF unearths arms unit

Bengal Kolkata Police Asansol

KOLKATA: The Kolkata Police Special Task Force has unearthed an improvised fire arms manufacturing unit operating from the Bengal-Jharkhand border, barely 25 km from Asansol, for the past several months.

The unit operated out of a specially modified underground chamber and the finished products were illegally sold in the city and its surroundings, claimed police.
