KOLKATA: A harmony run followed by a unity pledge and a march past was organised by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials in Kolkata airport in West Bengal on Sunday on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The unity run and the pledge taking ceremony was done in presence of LK Haokip, senior commandant, chief airport security officer (CASO).
The march past/parade was also conducted by CISF at Narayanpur campground and followed by a unity pledge.
The programme ended with a short speech about the core objectives of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas delivered by Haokip.
