A man in his 20s has been shot in both legs in West Belfast .
The incident occurred in the Divismore Park area after 7.50pm tonight, December 30.
The male has been taken to hospital.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital for treatment to gunshot wounds to both legs following the incident which was reported around 7.50pm this evening.
"Detectives are investigating and would ask anyone with information which could assist them with their enquires to come forward."
