West Belfast Primary 7s sent heartwarming 'big school' advice from well known faces

This is the brilliant moment a Primary 7 class in Belfast was surprised by Carl Frampton.

As their teachers bid an emotional farewell to the P7s at John Paul lI Primary School, six familiar faces sent special video messages to Miss Hardy's class.

Embarking on a new and daunting journey to big school, Carl Frampton, Tracey Magee, Barra Best, Paddy Raff, Joe Gormley and Allison Morris sent their words of wisdom.

Each video was shared through the school's Twitter page, attracting thousands of views.

The school principal, Mr Hunter thanked those who took the time to send the boys and girls the videos.

He said: “We want to give a big thank you to Carl, Barra, Joe, Paddy, Allison and Tracey for sending through these brilliant Twitter videos wishing our P7s well as they move on to post primary schools in September. The children were so excited at getting a mention.

"It was really some special and something they will always remember."

You can watch the other video messages on the school's Twitter feed here.
