Police have made two arrests after suspected drugs and a firearm were uncovered during a property raid yesterday.
The West Belfast operation followed a vehicle search on Upper Crescent in South Belfast around 4pm on Saturday.
A PSNI spokesperson said they stopped a car after seeing "a male and female acting suspiciously" and allegedly uncovered suspected Class A Drugs inside.
A home in the Colinvale are of West Belfast was subsequently searched and a suspected firearm and more suspected drugs are alleged to have been found.
Police said they have arrested three people across the two incidents. A woman, aged 24, was arrested after the car search and later released on bail.
A second, 37-year-old woman, was arrested at the Colinvale home that police visited. While a 36-year-old man arrested in South Belfast was later re-arrested following the house search.

A PSNI spokesperson said: " Police have arrested two people and recovered a quantity of drugs and a suspected firearm following searches in Belfast yesterday, Saturday 23 May.
"Shortly after 4pm police observed a male and female acting suspiciously in a car on Upper Crescent in south Belfast. Police stopped the car and, following a search of the vehicle and the occupants, recovered a quantity of suspected Class A controlled drugs.
"The 24-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs offences. She was interviewed and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
"The 36-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug and possession of a class A controlled drugs with intent to supply.
"During a follow-up search of a house in the Colinvale area of West Belfast police recovered a suspected firearm and a quantity of suspected drugs. A 37-year-old female was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm in suspicious circumstances. She remains in police custody at this time.
"The 36-year-old male arrested earlier was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances and remains in police custody at this time."
