Detectives are investigating the burglary of business premises on the Grosvenor Road this morning.
Entry was forced to Karen's Tanning and Beauty Salon in West Belfast between 2am and 5am and a sum of cash was stolen from an ATM machine inside the property.
A police spokesperson appealed to anyone who may have seen a white transit van in the area to come forward.
Detective Inspector Harvey said: “Sometime between 2am and 5am this morning entry was gained to commercial premises on the Grosvenor Road.
"An ATM machine located within the premises was forced open and a sum of cash stolen from inside.
"A white transit van is believed to have been used by the suspects.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference 631 10/08/18.
"I am particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have seen a white transit van in the area of Grosvenor Road late last night or early this morning.
“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
In a post on their Facebook page, Karen's Tanning and Beauty Salon informed their clients that they will be closed today due to the incident.
It read: "We will be closed today (Sat 10th August) due to a break in.
"Please share let others know. We hope you understand, sorry for any inconvenience."
