Megan Barton-Hanson doesn't want any awkward run ins with her ex Wes Nelson , and threatened to quit Celebs Go Dating if he joined the cast.
Bosses had hoped to sign him up to the E4 reality show, but Meg put her foot down and said it was her or him.
The former couple met on Love Island 2018 and broke up after six months together, with the blonde bombshell now looking for love on Celebs Go Dating alongside Lauren Goodger, Jack Fincham and Lee Ryan.
It's claimed that Wes will take part in another series, where he can safely avoid running into Megan.

A source told The Sun : "There was a big plan to get Wes onto the show but Megan heard about it and wasn't keen.
"No-one wants to be dating with their ex hanging around and she made her feelings perfectly clear.
"The situation would have been too awkward to bear and in the end it was a deal-breaker. Either bosses got Wes or they got her - not both.
"However, while the timing wasn't right this time, Wes was told the door is open for him to appear on Celebs Go Dating in the future."

Mirror Online has contacted reps for Megan for comment
Megan and Wes split back in January, while he was starring in Dancing on Ice with gorgeous partner Vanessa Bauer.
They were one of the few couples to sustain a relationship after leaving the Love Island villa but broke up after moving in together.
She recently came out as bisexual and revealed her hope she'd be matched with a woman on Celebs Go Dating.

Megan, who admitted that she prefers having sex with women, will be the first to date another woman on the show.
Relationship expert Anna Williams, who will be helping Megan find love, said: "If someone asks who are we to deny them.
"Megan has come in very willing to explore all options of her sexuality and we will do our very best to facilitate that."
