Wes Nelson has reportedly made a play to get ex-girlfriend Megan Barton Hanson back.
The reality TV couple recently called time on their six-month romance after meeting on Love Island over the summer, just days into Nelson’s stint on ITV's Dancing On Ice.
He was recently hit with reports claiming he had a fling with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer earlier in the series, following Barton Hanson's claim that show bosses "deliberately" partnered Nelson with the “hottest” contestant to "stir" things up.
However, Nelson has reportedly been trying his luck behind the scenes and has supposedly booked a romantic getaway to Morocco in a bid to give the romance a second chance.
According to The Sun, Nelson pleaded with Barton Hanson on her 25th birthday through a heartfelt card.
A source told the publication: “It was really heartfelt – he told her: 'Words really can't describe how much I love you. It's been so difficult doing the normal things we always do together. Once again we have gravitated back to each other.’
“He also said he's booked a stay at a Moroccan villa for them both as it's completely out of the way. It's very confusing for Megan – she doesn't know whether she's coming or going.”

The reports come after Nelson was quizzed on a potential future for the pair earlier this week.
The Dancing on Ice runner-up told Loose Women how he hadn’t spoken to his former flame in a “good amount of time”, despite recent X-rated posts that were shared by Barton Hanson.
Asked if they would ever get back together, he replied: “I don’t think so no. It’s sad but sadly I don’t think so.”
Nelson also slammed claims he had got together with Bauer, deeming the reports “laughable”.
Reports have since surfaced that Nelson was photographed chatting to a “mystery woman” during the show’s wrap party.
Nelson was snapped looking deep in conversation with backing dancer Bayley Darling, who has previously performed with Little Mix, during Sunday night’s festivities.
He is yet to comment on the reports.
