Were West Brom's Leeds United plans disrupted overnight with early wake-up call?

West Bromwich Albion players have reportedly had their pre-match preparations hampered after they were reportedly woken during the middle of last night due to a fire alarm.

Albion face Leeds United at Elland Road tonight and opted to make the trip north to Yorkshire on Monday ahead of the game.

But Albion's players have now been pictured supposedly leaving their hotel rooms late last night after a fire alarm was set off during their overnight stay.

The image, which was posted on Leeds United's Reddit page, shows stars including Grady Diangana, Charlie Austin, Filip Krovinović and Sam Johnstone sitting on the floor with one still wrapped in a blanket.

Although it is not know what the time the photo was taken, due to it being dark outside, one imagines it happened either late last night or in the early hours of this morning.

The post read: "WBA staying at hotel my mates at and fire alarm went off during the night. Every little helps! I don’t think it was intentional. Although does seem to happen quite often."

A win for the Whites tonight could take them back to the top of the Championship table, while Bilic's side come into the game looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season.

Kick off is 19:45pm at Elland Road and fans unable to attend can follow all the action on our dedicated live matchday blog.
