Llandudno has been named as one of the eight best emerging places in the world for travellers to visit in 2022.
Booking.com listed the Welsh town, the only one in the UK, as one of eight emerging destinations - alongside Atlanta in the USA, Melaka in Malaysia, and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
The worldwide travel site picked the eight trending destinations from data research, based on the top bookings between June - September 2021. The research also found that people were keen to make up for lost time after the coronavirus pandemic.

Llandudno is described as the perfect staycation escape, complete with beaches, nature, castles and jaw-dropping views from the summit station up at The Great Orme.
It also recommended the Beachside Guest House, which is just one minute from the beach and surrounded by all the resort's attractions.
Back in the summer, north Wales topped a poll for being the most popular region for UK holidays this summer.
Sykes Holiday Cottages’ biannual report of the top 10 most popular holiday regions for summer, saw the area knock Devon and Cornwall off the top spot for the first time.
