Welsh MMA fighter Jack Shore continues unbeaten run in UFC with clinical win in Las Vegas

Welsh mixed martial arts star Jack 'Tank' Shore took his winning record to a perfect 15-0 in the UFC on Saturday as he cruised to a one-sided victory in Las Vegas.

The Abertillery fighter, who trains out of Shore Mixed Martial Arts, faced off with former Ukrainian wrestler Liudvik Sholinian in what was a completely one-sided affair at the UFC Apex centre.

Shore landed a total of 92 significant strikes compared to his opponent's 19 during the bout, as well as two successful takedowns in what was a silky and clinical performance.

The victory is even more impressive for the 26-year-old considering he almost had to pull out of the fight two weeks earlier due to suffering a tear in his bicep tendon.

The up-and-coming bantamweight, who is currently tipped by pundits to be Wales' best hope of a UFC belt in the coming years, will now move towards the top 10 of the bantamweight division, where fighters such as Aljamain Sterling, TJ Dillashaw, and Jose Aldo will be in his sights.

Shore was part of the largely British card which was headlined by fan favourite Darren Till in his middleweight loss to American Derek Brunson on Saturday evening. The event also featured victories from Liverpool's Molly McCann, Paddy Pimblett and Tom Aspinall.
