A Welsh hotel has been listed as having one of the most Instagrammable swimming pools in the UK. The infinity pool at St Brides Spa Hotel in Pembrokeshire has an enviable view right across Saundersfoot beach and the sea beyond.
The pool, part of the Marine Spa at the hotel, seems to merge with the horizon and is a prime spot to watch the sun rise over the Gower Peninsula. Heated to 35 degrees centigrade, the pool is open to the elements and the perfect place for some al fresco swimming through the winter months.

But it's equally a delightful spot to chill with a glass of something cold and crisp during those long summer evenings in Pembrokeshire.
The list, compiled by travel experts at Comparethemarket, ranked the pool at St Brides Spa Hotel as seventh in a list of 10. Top of the list was Cameron House in Scotland, which has unsurpassed views across Loch Lomond. The luxurious rooftop infinity pool is located at The Cameron Spa and attracts tourists from across the world. Visitors have collectively snapped over 24,704 posts under the hashtag #cameronhouse.
The rankings were collated based on the number of hashtags on Instagram. St Brides Spa Hotel had 2,094 posts.
The location of the second most snapped pool in the UK is located in another beautiful Scottish location, at the iconic Balmoral hotel in Edinburgh. The tranquil oasis has 12,705 posts under the hashtag #thebalmoral.
The third most Insta-worthy poolside destination in the UK is located on the seventh floor of King Street Town House (6,298) in Manchester, with the heated infinity pool overlooking the city.
