One of the most prestigious non-major events on the PGA Tour will take place this weekend at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina as nearly every top golfer in the world will take part in the Wells Fargo Championship from Thursday through Sunday.

This weekend’s event is the first appearance from many of the sports’ biggest stars since the Masters last month. Tiger Woods will not take part in one of his favorite tournaments this year as he’s adopted a lighter schedule after the win in Augusta. Regardless, there is plenty of star power in Tar Heel country: two-time Wells Fargo winner Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Hideki Matsuyama, and Justin Rose will all tee it up.
Also playing in Charlotte are Rickie Fowler, Sergio Garcia, Henrik Stenson, Jason Day, Tony Finau and Patrick Reed, so this should be a great weekend of golf in one of the Tour’s best courses.
