Wellerman hitmaker Nathan Evans offers to turn out for Scotland National Team as he poses in replica shirt

Wellerman hitmaker Nathan Evans as confirmed his love for Scotland's national team by pulling on the home shirt for a social media post - and even offering to play a game or two.

The Scots born singer went viral on TikTok with his sea shanties and even landed a record deal, meaning he could quit his job as a postie.

He performed with Ant and Dec, earned a Brit Award nomination, and his sea shanty song went on to be the top selling single of the year in Germany, beating Ed Sheeran into second place.

Now for 2022 it looks like Nathan has some more plans for world domination - including honing on on his football skills.

The talented player who scored four goals during the Soccer Six Game of History for Cop 26 at Hamilton Accies Stadium has now decided to help out the official Scotland players - or Rangers - his other chosen team.

He wrote: "If Scotland, or even Rangers, need a sub, count me in, I’ll be there!"

Fans were split over his post, with some suggesting he'd just halved his audience.

Others, however, were thrilled at the offer with one saying: "Based on your charity match, they'd be lucky to have you!"

Another added: 'Looking a hunky Scot in the footy vest, Nathan xx"
