Wellerman charttopper Nathan Evans has revealed his name is hidden inside the steel pillars of Glasgow's St Enoch Centre.
And the Airdrie born singer who also told fans he celebrated his big number one win in the UK chats with a beer and a hoagie this weekend, exclusively told the Daily Record he'd made his mark in Scotland in more ways than one.
Forrmer postie Nathan who chatted with Bev Lyons for our The Lyons Den Facebook show revealed he was working in Glasgow erecting steel beams as part of his other job before he was signed to records.
Nathan, who is married to his childhood sweetheart, told Bev: "I somehow ended up in manual labour."
"I did double glazing, fitting doors and windows and went from there to do the steel erections, putting up steel constructions for carparks and big buildings."
Nathan added: "In the St Enoch centre they are building a big cinema and I worked for two years putting up that where BHS used to be.
"That's going to be a big cinema. I literally left that job in August of last year. There's probably my name in some steel beam somewhere, definitely."
Nathan is clearly a man of many talents and his ascension to number one following his viral Tik Tok sea shanties shows he's on a mission.
He celebrated modestly in true Glasgow style with a kebab and a bottle of Corona beer.
He said: 'I thought I'd let you in on how the Scottish celebrate number ones.
"I got myself a wee Corona as you do.
"I've also got myself what I like to call a donner hoagie - donner meat, chips, cheese, kebab sauce, its like a heart attack at thirty.
"That's how we celebrate up here. Thankyou once again."
