'Well-known' thug boy gang caught on CCTV smashing popular Dublin shop window with rocks after days of terrorising workers

Here are the three teenage thugs part of a gang who have been "terrorising and harassing" workers at a popular Dublin shop for days all of which came to a head over the weekend.

The terrible trio had been "eyeing up the shop" 97 Technology Centre on Parnell Street in the days leading up to their brutal act of vandalism on Sunday evening.

Exclusive footage obtained by Dublin Live shows the group slowly strolling into the store for a quick browse, two of whom are armed with two rocks which they whip out from their pockets and hurl against the front store window, smashing the pane which will cost "up to €300".

A worker at the store told Dublin Live that the boys are "well-known and regular visitors to the shop".

They had even previously tried to rob expensive phones and devices from there the day before but had been unsuccessful.

They said: "They were in the store on Saturday, sussing out the place and pretending to have a look around but they were never going to buy anything.

"Around half 4 on Saturday, they tried to steal from the shop but they were caught and told to leave immediately.

"Then on Sunday, they came back and did that. It's a crushing blow. My heart is in the business and now I have to fork out around €300 to fix the glass.

They added: "They are forever terrorising and harassing us here in the shop but this time they have gone too far.

"It's hard enough with everything else going on in the world at the moment without this happening on top of it too."

A Garda spokeswoman said: "We are investigating an incident of criminal damage of a retail premises which occurred on Parnell Street, Dublin 1 on the 16 August at approximately 5:30pm.

She added: "No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
