Well known faces turn out in Dublin for new Margot Robbie movie Birds of Prey

Well known faces including Doireann Garrihy, James Patrice and Rebecca Grimes joined guests at Dublin's Lighthouse Cinema for a sneak preview screening of the new  Superhero film 'Birds of Prey'.

The fun continued on Wednesday evening as the yellow carpet was then rolled out at Cineworld at the Parnell Centre for the Irish Premiere of the Film.

Margot Robbie, 29, plays the iconic anti-heroine Harley Quinn in the new DC Comics film.

She is up for the prestigious award for her turn as Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and also her role in sexual harassment drama Bombshell.

Early reactions for Margot's turn as Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey have also been positive.

The Mirror's very own Chris Hunneysett tweeted after the premiere: "So #MargotRobbie is a blast, and #BirdsofPrey is an infectious riot of fun. Imagine a frenetic foul mouthed Spice World with baseball bats and a really solid soundtrack."
