Clifton Wine Bar closed and listed on Rightmove after decades of trading in Bristol

A popular pub in Clifton is currently for sale after unexpectedly closing its doors.

The Clifton Wine Bar, described on Rightmove as a "well known" pub in an affluent area, is now on sale for £350,000.

According to Bristol Live's Mark Taylor, the pub, which has been in the area for decades, appeared to be closed to customers on Thursday (September 5).

According to Rightmove: "The Clifton Wine Bar is well known throughout the area which benefits a good sized bar and large trade garden which is a popular addition.

"The bar also benefits from a separate two bed flat above.

"This is a great opportunity to secure a well known licensed property in one of the most sought after areas of Bristol.

"The site is operating under a tenancy at will agreement with vacant possession available on completion."

The Clifton Wine Bar has been contacted for comment.
