Well deserved, says LU chancellor and UP Governor Anandiben Patel who played crucial role in feat

LUCKNOW: Governor Anandiben Patel, chief minister Yogi Adityanath and deputy chief minister Brijesh Pathak congratulated Lucknow University on getting NAAC A++ grade on Tuesday.

Governor, who is also the chancellor of all state universities, played a key role in pushing universities to get NAAC evaluation done.

She said, "It's a matter of great pride that LU has been awarded the highest NAAC grade from the council that assesses the overall academic system and teaching work in higher education institutions in India."

She said that this achievement is inspiring for other universities in the state. "These universities should continue their efforts to improve the quality of their teaching and work system till they attain the highest grade," she added. A senior official from Raj Bhawan said, "Since last two years special efforts have been made by the governor of the state for getting universities NAAC graded."

Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath also extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the university family and the people of the state on LU getting NAAC A++ grade.

"LU is the first state university, which has achieved this feat. It is a matter of pride for the people. Under the guidance of governor and chancellor Anandiben Patel, all the universities and higher education institutions of the state are striving to get better grades," said the CM.

Dy CM Brajesh Pathak, who is also a former LU student, said, "LU is touching new heights every day, congratulation to everyone."
