'Well and truly eating my words. Fair play Graham Coughlan' - Bristol Rovers fan reacts to win over Rotherham United

The tide appears to be turning.

Bristol Rovers manager Graham Coughlan has had to work hard for the fans' approval since becoming manager in December but results on the pitch and the club's steady climb up the League One table look to be winning those doubting Gasheads over.

On Saturday the Pirates recorded a 1-0 victory over Rotherham United, a side who came down from the Championship last season, to climb up to seventh in the League One table.

Fans had been slow to take Coughlan into their hearts due to the combative and defensive style of football he introduced when he first replaced the more cavalier Darrell Clarke. But with time a more attacking element is coming to the fore and perhaps more importantly results continue to be positive, with today's win completing an unbeaten month in all competitions.

Star striker Jonson Clarke-Harris, who Coughlan signed in January, scored the only goal of the game to take his individual tally for the season up to eight.
