'Welcome to Liverpool' - YouTube video bizarrely predicts Bristol City defender's future after links to Anfield and Arsenal

A YouTube channel with almost half a million subscribers seems to have jumped the gun over the future of Lloyd Kelly.

The rising Bristol City defender has recently been linked to Liverpool, Southampton and Arsenal.

Liverpool have been said to be interested in the 20-year-old for a prolonged period, having also been linked with him in January.

Yet the Robins are in no hurry to sell the versatile defender, who can play at both left-back and centre-back, and have valued him at around £15m.

After Paul Joyce from the Times reported that the Reds are continuing to scout Kelly, YouTube channel SportsVideosMM, who have 437,188 subscribers and have numerous videos with over one million views, quickly edited together a highlights package of the player.

Yet their title on the video is sure to confuse Robins supporters, after they called it 'Lloyd Kelly - Welcome to Liverpool 2019, defensive skills, dribbling and speed'.

Barnsley make move to keep hold of star player wanted by Bristol City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Stoke City and Birmingham City

It seems premature to say the least.

Despite that, the video appears to have gone down well with Liverpool fans, with one commenting that Kelly would be a good back-up option for left-back Andrew Robertson.
