Chelsea's transfer business is well underway, and Ben Chilwell may have just upped his price-tag.
The Blues have already completed the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech but are still looking for a left back to strengthen an area many don't consider strong enough with Marcos Alonso and Emerseon Palmieri.
The name that has been closely linked is Leicester's Chilwell and his actions against Watford may have just whet the appetite for those uncertain about making a bid for the England international.
Chilwell controlled the ball on the edge of the box before launching a rocket past Ben Foster to net a strike worthy of anyone.
The defender is thought to be valued in excess of £50m and this goal certainly will have helped the Foxes case.
Brendan Rodgers noted earlier, that he is not worried about his charge's future but has accepted he may leave.
The former Liverpool boss said: "All you can ever do is create an environment where players will feel they can improve and develop, and enjoy their football
"But I also recognise players may well look beyond Leicester City. I’ve never felt that with Ben. He’s a huge talent and for me he can be one of the world’s best left-backs. He’s understanding here what it takes every single day, not just on a game day, and what it takes to be an elite player in terms of lifestyle and professionalism.
“I can only see him getting better and he can get that here at Leicester, of course. I think he’s shown that, particularly this season. I can say that, but of course players and agents may well have other ambitions for players. That’s not something you can always control."
