'Welcome to Chelsea' - Andre Onana sends fans wild over Hakim Ziyech transfer theory

Hakim Ziyech will become a Chelsea player in the summer.

The Blues and his current club Ajax have announced that an agreement of £33 million, potentially rising to £36 million has been agreed between the two clubs for the Moroccan international to make the move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

"Chelsea Football Club has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer," read a statement on Chelsea's official website."The move is subject to the player agreeing personal terms and he will remain at the Dutch club for the rest of this season."

Ziyech has spent four seasons at the Dutch club, where he has made 160 appearances, scoring 48 goals and providing 82 assists.

Upon the announcement of his impending move, teammate and reported Chelsea target Andre Onana sent a message to Ziyech.

"Teammate, friend, brother... I'd like to wish you the best for this next chapter. You and I have come from the bottom and we both know nobody gives you anything for free. We have been teammates for 4 seasons where we've lived moments that I'd never forget," he wrote on his Twitter account.

"We have laughed, cried, worked real hard and enjoyed so many experiences together and I wouldn't change these for the world. It's been absolute pleasure my friend. Always with a smile and always willing to help your teammates. We still have a few months to achieve big things.

"Enjoy every moment and we will enjoy of your company every day. Go smash it, brother."

In reply to the comments, Blues fans had a clear message for the Ajax goalkeeper on a potential summer transfer.

Chelsea are said to be leading the race for the goalkeeper, with reports suggesting that the Blues are set to beat off interest from Barcelona, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain.

The goalkeeper could come in to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga with the Spaniard's future at Stamford Bridge in doubt.

According to Goal, Frank Lampard is looking to bring a new man in between the posts to replace the number one who was dropped to the bench for the Blues' last Premier League game.
