'Welcome!' - Chelsea fans in transfer meltdown after Erling Haaland's five-word message

Chelsea fans have been sending messages to transfer target Erling Haaland.

It's no surprise that the Norway international's future is dominating the summer window as he is one of the most sought-after players in Europe right now.

After netting 41 goals in just 41 appearances across all competitions in the season just gone - including 10 in the Champions League - Haaland is being tipped for a big move.

For Chelsea to win the race to sign the striker, they'll have to see off competition from both Manchester United and Manchester City as well as La Liga duo Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Although, it might be a good idea to wait 12 months.

This is because at the end of next season, 20-year-old's release clause of €75million (£64m) will kick in which means clubs can save millions amid reports that Borussia Dortmund would demand over £100m this summer.

But it's quite clear that many Chelsea fans are keen for a deal to be wrapped up before the first game of the 2021/22 season.

So much so that some have been sent into a transfer frenzy following Haaland's social media activity during the England vs Germany Euro 2020 last-16 clash on Tuesday afternoon.

At one point in the game, Haaland posted a simple five-word message that read: "Time to bring on Sancho..."

Whilst this was clearly intended for Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate and had nothing to do regarding his future, some Chelsea fans took this as an opportunity to send him a transfer message.
