Shoppers hoping to get their hands on a box of the tasty new cereal can only currently buy at Ocado for £2 or Sainsbury’s for £3 . Both flavours of the cereal will also be available to buy from Tesco and Dunnes from mid-April and at Spar from June.
The cereal is claimed to be high in fibre, low in salt and is fortified with vitamins and iron, making it “a great way to start the day or enjoy as a snack,” according to Weetabix.
We first spotted the indulgent new cereal range on the official Weetabix Twitter account, with the brand unveiling its newest range with the message: “Introducing NEW Weetabix Chocolate Melts…Crunchy Weetabix bites stuffed with white or milk chocolate flavoured soft-centres. Breakfast never tasted so good.”
Since then, fans of the brand have taken to social media to express their excitement on the new release. One foodie said: “I NEED THESE OMG.”
Another cereal lover stated: “Omg can’t wait to try them.”
