Weekend weather forecast: Downpours to hit Bristol - when Met Office says rain will be at its worst

There's good news and bad news for Bristol weather this weekend.

The good news is, it's not going to be quite as chilly as the past few days and we'll have a relatively bright and sunny Sunday.

The bad news is Saturday will be made up of downpours, with little relief.

The Met Office is forecasting heavy rain will hit between 9am and 10am on Saturday, and it won't really stop.

There will be a brief pause between 2pm and 4pm, when only light showers are forecast, but the evening will once again see rain.

Temperatures will be between 4C and 7C.

However there is good news for people heading out to one of Bristol's Remembrance Sunday services, with sunny intervals forecast for Sunday.

Temperatures will be between 5C and 8C, so you might want to wear some gloves.

The forecast for next week looks pretty good, too. With light rain quickly changing to sunny intervals on Monday before a day of bright sunshine on Tuesday.
