Weekend sporting fixtures for boxing, football, horse racing and rugby

We've a huge weekend of sport coming up. It is so good that it might even be the best weekend of sport in 2019.

Anthony Joshua is aiming to regain his heavyweight belts after losing to Andy Ruiz earlier in the year. The fight takes place in Saudi Arabia.

Irishman Dennis Hogan is also fighting for a world title when he faces Jermall Charlo in Brooklyn for the WBC middleweight title later on Saturday night/ the early hours of Sunday morning.

There's also a full programme of Premier League matches with the Manchester derby between City and United the pick of the games.

The national hunt season is really hotting up in the horse racing and there's some quality action taking place again this weekend.

The Grade 1 Tingle Creek at Sandown stands out as Defi Du Seuil aims to add to his win at Cheltenham last month, while Native River and Might Bite could clash at Aintree in a rematch of the 2018 Gold Cup.

Meanwhile in the rugby, the Champions Cup continues with Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Ulster all in action.
