Weekend's BBC, ITV and Channel 4 TV schedule following the death of the Queen

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, the country has entered a period of national mourning.

Naturally, TV channels have already aired numerous special programs documenting the extraordinary life of the 96-year-old and have extended special coverage of the events that followed her passing at Balmoral estate in Scotland.

As well as sporting events across the country being postponed as a mark of respect, there has been a shake-up of the country's TV schedule for channels such as BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
