We’re looking for an image for the cover of the Guardian’s forthcoming guide to photography that captures the spirit of the medium. We want more than just a beautiful image. Ask yourself what makes an image extraordinary? Is it technique (shutter speed, depth of field, multiple exposures, etc)? Is it the ‘decisive moment’ when light, colour and composition come together for a fleeting moment? We are not looking for manipulated images, but something that conveys the power of photography. The winner will receive £250 worth of photography vouchers. Go to Guardian Camera club for more details.
