Weekend betting tips: Four bets that could make you a fortune

Royal Ascot comes to an end this weekend after some cracking racing action over the past few days.

Frankie Dettori dominated proceedings on Thursday as he rode the first four winners on the day.

There's also loads of GAA action over the next few days as the Ulster, Munster and Leinster football finals take place as well as eight All-Ireland qualifiers.

Here's our best bets:

Happy Power 2.40pm Royal Ascot 6/1

In the Jersey Stakes, I fancy Happy Power to be there or thereabouts under Silvestre De Sousa.

He has won on ground ranging from good to soft and comes back down in trip after beating older opposition in a race at York last week.

He looks a good each-way price to go close again.

Masar 3.40pm Royal Ascot Saturday 11/4

(PA)

Masar hasn't been seen in action since winning last year's Derby, but impressed in a recent racecourse gallop at Newmarket.

If coming back near his best, he should be very hard to beat over the Derby trip in the Hardwicke Stakes.

He might need to be back near his best though as today's opposition won't be easy.

Blue Point 4.20pm Royal Ascot Saturday 5/2

Blue Point can complete a historic Royal Ascot Group One double by landing the Diamond Jubilee Stakes today.

Charlie Appleby's star sprinter claimed the King's Stand here on Tuesday taking his record at Ascot to four wins from five starts.

Two of those victories came over six furlongs so going back up in trip is of no concern if his win during the week hasn't left its mark.

Armagh +2 handicap v Tyrone 7pm Saturday 5/6

Cavan needed a replay to beat Armagh in the semi-finals of the Ulster Championship.

And the Orchard County will be difficult to beat once again when they face Monaghan on Sunday.

Expect them to run the hosts close and take the +2 handicap.
